There are still so many men out there that believe women want to be with the Bad Boy. I am here to tell you that this statement is entirely false.
WOMEN DO NOT WANT TO BE WITH THE BAD BOY!!!!!!! They want to be with a good man who does possess some of the qualities the bad boy pretends to have.
Just to be clear when I use the term bad boy I mean a guy who is mysterious, is not reliable, a player, a jerk, secretly insecure, has no respect for anyone but himself and manipulates and uses women. I want to be sure we are on the same page.
I wanted to share a small outtake from the audio interview I did with Carlos Xuma from Dating Dynamics. The interview is part of his new program called “The Bad Boy Formula” which teaches men how to be strong and respect themselves WITHOUT being a BAD BOY JERK. A program, as you know, I am full support of.
Sometimes I think they do…. But usually its the confidence level that they posses that women like. Honestly I have to admit my confidence level is not that good right now, but I think confidence has more to do with it i think…..
After reading this post, I was reminded of the vicious cycle I lived as a young adult dating.
I was chronically a “bad boy” dater. From the guy in high school who would race his car and fight with anyone who glanced at him wrong to the twenty-nine year old that chased me down the lane in his tractor because I was leaving the farm without his permission. What made these guys appealing to me?
Well, excitement is definitely a piece of it. Regardless of their faults both these guys were fun. Neither of them necessarily doted on me but they made me feel loved. They were both strong minded and not afraid to show it. I was proud to be called their girlfriend.
But, did I grow up to marry either of these guys? No. Did I even grow up to marry a guy like this? No! But, my husband does have a lot of the qualities I was attracted to in the bad boys – but in a more quiet confident way. He is smart with a wide variety of opinions but open to new ideas. He knows when I need to feel loved and shows it. But, I think the most important quality of all is the fun factor. He can make me laugh and lighten up even the darkest situations. Even after 13 years of marriage, we laugh almost every day. We play silly jokes on each other and our kids. With him in the lead, we have fun almost every day.
So, confidence is critical, but don’t ever underestimate the fun factor. Make her laugh.

It definitely does. Why is your confidence low?
I guess keep on getting rejected.
