The help me eyes are an international signal sent out by females to other females when they are trapped in a situation.
Typically this situation involves a man they are not interested in.
When the female has become cornered by a man she does not want to be talking to, she will send out a signal to all females in her vicinity.
This signal is a simple, slight movement of her eyes.
Moments after the signal is sent out, another female, who may or may not even know the female, will swoop in to her rescue and relieve her.
Men always think it is the annoying friend who has ruined their perfect game.
Truth is, it was not the friend that spoiled your game it was you.
Take a look at the picture below or the video of me above to see what the help me eyes look like.

If you look closely at this photo, you will see the help me eyes. It is very subtle yet intense and almost any female can pick up on it. Most men will not be able to see the subtle lift and opening of the eye.
Now that you know about this trick women use, you can use it to your advantage! Call a woman out on her help me eyes. Doing this will make her a little uncomfortable and put her in a vulnerable position.

I much willing to be in group to have guys sooner as can, to me its not problem,i greet U all.
See all again bye
I have long been a believer in the raw power of eye contact to gauge or even establish attraction, so it’s nice to balance things out with what it looks like when the gal is calling for help…
Better yet… Don’t give her a reason to need to give off the “help me eyes”
This is insane! Who makes this stuff up? Where do “all” women learn about this? Do y’all have wiggly ear signals too? And if it’s so subtle, how can women see it from across the room? And what are y’all looking at each other for instead of paying attention to us guys?!?
Hey Marni,
If a cool socially aware girl sees a GUY making eyes like that will she come in and help him? I got cornered at a house party by this Indy-type girl who looked like a bookstore clerk who decided to start her own chickrock band 5 years ago but failed and never got back around to it. She started telling me about her cat limericks about 4 inches away from my face and I wanted to run. I’m pretty sure I was flashing help-me-eyes like a strobe light. I got no relief.
I know no guy would be able to catch that, but…
Neal “Tse”
Of course. That would be fun for a woman to pull a guy away from a crazy girl. women love that stuff. It’s fun and engaging and a bonding moment. Great opener.
Once again an excellent written post from you. Keep it up!
@JIM,
Nobody makes it up, women have been better at reading non-verbal communication for generations. I’ve seen girls use this signal many times (sometimes I was the cause of it!) and I can tell you it’s everywhere once you know what to look for. Again, women are experts at non-verbal communication, so what appears subtle to dudes (some guys probably will never be able to pick up on what she did in the video), it’s a glaring alarm to other girls. Why do you think they use it? Because it works. Guys don’t know they do it.
Thanks for that comment Dan!
As men, if you learn to spot the eyes you can use it to your advantage. You can start saving other women. Great ice breaker!
The help me eyes can be described like this:
It’s the subtle eye raise-and-shut, the quick glance over to the group of people when the guy is too engrossed in what he’s saying and entrapping the poor girl in the process.
Pretending to be the girl’s long-lost friend, a strategic hug with your back just happening to get in the way of said target, then pulling her to safety will earn BIG brownie points. Not just pulling her to safety, but snubbing the doof in his face and him having not a clue what’s going on.
