This is definitely a first for me.  The somewhat technically challenged, ME, will be hosting a Twitter Event on Twitter (duh) on Wednesday, December 7th at 8pm EST.

I was pretty honored a couple of months ago, when the team at Philips Norelco (the company that makes awesome men’s shaver’s, razor’s, clipper’s etc…  My husband actually uses their products) contacted me, and told me that I was considered a highly influential person in the dating world.  They asked me if I wanted to host a twitter event for them about dating and I said of course! The more people that I can access and give my advice to the better.

The Twitter Event will focus on everything you need to know for getting, planning and correctly executing your next great date, and feature a Q&A with me.

Here are some of the topics I’ll be covering

  • Asking someone out on a date – how to do it, what to say, how to know if they’ll say yes and how to ensure they say yes
  • Planning the date – where to take your date, how to give options without being a wimp, how to lead your date
  • Prepping for the date – what to wear for the date, to shave or not to shave, fully loaded??
  • The date itself - shake hands? Kiss on the cheek? Hug? how to greet your date, how to act on the date, when to touch, when to kiss
  • Post-date tips – when to ask for that second date, how to tell if you want to go on a second date

and tons more!!

    You can always search for #Gr8Date later on twitter. And reread the whole timeline.

    However tweets deleted will not be rereadable.

    If you hate browsing twitter on the internet, you could download tweetdeck for windows/mac.

    Ok, I’m curious what the women reading this have to think about it- There’s a girl I like and we flirt a lot, but she has a boyfriend (well he graduated from ‘guy im dating’ to ‘boyfriend’ over the past 2 months) we joke a lot and I flirt with her a lot.

      Hey SKW

      Whilst this relationship may not sound like it’s for keeps; I’d reccommend moving on. You don’t want to give a girl who’s technically ‘off the market’ too much validation. Cool off and if the boyfriend gets downgraded again to that ‘guy I’m dating’ again it’s then that she may be signalling more interest to you. But in the mean time don’t be an emotional crutch for her
