Exercise: How To Ask A Woman Out

My sister is visiting me this weekend and last night we had a WILD girls night.

Like the first year of college wild. So wild you wouldn’t believe!!!

Wanna know what we did?

We stayed in and watched that life of Walter Mitty movie with Ben Stiller 😉

I know, we’re boring. But at least we did it while drinking a tasty bottle of red wine. Ha.

One of the scenes in the movie made me think of you. I’m not sure if you’ve seen this movie but the opening scene is Ben Stiller’s character sitting by the computer looking at an online profile of a girl he likes and wants to “send a wink” to.

That’s online dating talk for “approaching and saying Hi I may be interested”.

He stared at that screen for 10 minutes and you could tell that wasn’t the first time he was debating this “wink”.

Because I’m a Wing Girl and coach for men on how to get the girls you want by just going for it, this scene was painful for me. It was like my heart was being ripped out of my chest every second he continued to debate and wait.

Finally, he does it and the computer craps out on him and the wink is unable to send.

Something that I know happens to you every day.

It’s what happens when you wait to do what you want. When you debate. When you let your false beliefs and excuses get in the way of going after what you want.

I want to make sure that this week starts out right for you. That you don’t miss opportunities like Mitty.

So here’s a challenge for you.

This week, I want you to use one of my favorite GOYB (Get Off Your Butt) exercises. It’s called 3,2,1 GO.

I call them Get Off Your Butt exercises because they require you to GET OFF YOUR BUTT and go!

This exercise is not magical or overly complicated but here’s what you do.

1. Wear a rubber band on your wrist for this week

2. Every time you think to yourself “I want to do X” or “I want to approach that woman” say 3,2,1 GO….. Snap your rubber band and then DO IT!!

See, easy!

I want to hear about your experiences and I want to hear about how you are better than Walter Mitty because you go after what you want.

You take chances.

You put yourself out there.

You get what you want!

Have a great week and enjoy the exercise.
